McLean, Va. – The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) invests in breakthrough technologies that support the Department of Defense’s (DOD) mission to protect our national security. Comprised of approximately 220 government employees overseeing 250 research and development programs, DARPA addresses problems spanning from deep science to systems engineering. To provide the DOD and our military with the most cutting edge capabilities, DARPA has awarded Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) and six other prime contractors in August 2018 an IDIQ contract worth up to $850M for technical and analytical support. The purpose of this contract is to deliver high level Science and Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) support across DARPA offices, involving multiple disciplines and domains. Booz Allen will provide over 110 on-site SETA staff in addition to a variety of subject matter experts in air, space, ground, maritime, microsystems, biology, chemistry and physics.
