Rick Bodziak is a leader in Booz Allen’s cyber business. He is the program manager for one of the largest single-award contracts within Booz Allen—with more than 750 highly technical professionals who deliver advanced discovery analysis, data analytics, data science, machine learning, malware/reverse engineering and forensics analysis across seven geographical areas including Hawaii, England, and Germany. Rick has been with Booz Allen for more than 8 years, primarily serving as a project and market lead driving effective outcomes and solutions for the Department of Defense (DOD) and the intelligence community.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Rick served in the U.S. Navy for nearly 26 years, starting out as a surface warfare officer and then transitioning to special duty, cryptology in 1990. In his final tours, Rick led the Cyber Defense operational support division within the National Security Incident Response Center; managed more than 1,200 officers, sailors, and civilians in direct support of a DOD agency; and served as a senior operations officer within the National Security Operations Center.
Rick has an M.S. in operations research from the Naval Postgraduate School, an M.S. in national security strategies from the National War College (National Defense University), and a B.S. in ocean engineering from the United States Naval Academy. Rick is also a certified project management professional.
