Mike Bray is a leader in Booz Allen’s health business. He drives digital transformation within the Benefits Integrated Delivery program as part of our diverse work for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Mike and his team bring the latest technology advancements to address evolving federal mission challenges while accelerating modernization and decommissioning through integrated approaches that emphasize collaboration, user experience, and DevSecOps best practices.
Mike brings more than a decade of professional experience in full lifecycle software development, IT modernizations, and digital transformations. He has a track record of driving multiple customer solution design projects in parallel and finding novel solutions, architectures, and innovations to help customers meet their objectives. As a T-shaped engineer, Mike operates at the intersection of design, development, and operations, championing customer experience and DevSecOps practices that underpin the creation of cutting-edge citizen services.
Mike has supported several federal government clients, including the Bureau of the Fiscal Service, the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Air Force, and the Forest Service. Most recently, he led development of reusable, automated accelerators in the areas of cloud-native development and DevSecOps.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Mike was a software engineer at IBM, where he led a digital data collection process to track and measure U.S. Postal Service performance across the nation.
He has a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Virginia.
