Jonathan Chiu is a cybersecurity and management consulting leader in Booz Allen’s defense business. His primary focus is driving enterprise transformation through policy and strategy around cybersecurity, information technology (IT) modernization, and command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I). Throughout the past 15 years, his teams have influenced several major operational transitions for the Department of Defense (DOD), including data center consolidation, cloud adoption, and moving from compliance-based to risk-based cybersecurity.
Jonathan has worked for commercial as well as government clients, providing guidance on subjects ranging from software development and integration, to data and business intelligence, to strategy and policy development. As a cyber policy subject matter expert and a key author to both DOD and National Institute of Standards and Technology policies, Jonathan has published articles and spoken at conferences around the evolution of the cybersecurity risk framework.
Jonathan is passionate about mentoring and developing Booz Allen’s workforce, leading initiatives that cultivate skills around leadership, strategy development, and proposal and capture.
Jonathan has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Virginia and is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
