Our Coronavirus Pandemic Response

Supporting Our Communities

The firm and the independent Booz Allen Foundation have launched a coordinated philanthropic initiative to address pandemic-related causes. The initial support includes:

  • A $1 million Innovation Fund to help nonprofits, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, university-led researchers, and startups and small businesses solve urgent social issues created by COVID-19.
  • Assistance for frontline healthcare workers and vulnerable communities through the CDC Foundation
  • Support to veterans and military families through the COVID-19 Military Support Initiative
  • Help addressing the immediate needs of vulnerable local populations through the Feeding America® network of food banks and community-based agencies, supporting national efforts as well as the front lines in areas highly impacted by the COVID-19 virus where the firm has a significant presence

Supporting Our Employees

We have committed to employment security for our employees through at least July 1. To support this commitment, we have reallocated $100 million through budget reprioritization. In addition, we are:

  • Providing major enhancements to our dependent-care program, enabling flexible work options, and providing other options to address employee challenges at home
  • Making a $5 million contribution to our employee resilience program to support employee hardships driven by the crisis

Supporting Our Clients, Partners, and the World

While keeping employee health and safety as our top priority, we will continue to support the missions and goals of clients globally at the highest level possible. We are committed to support the U.S. government and commercial enterprises as they work to continue their own operations during this unprecedented time of crisis, including programs directly related to COVID-19 recovery.

Throughout the coming year, Booz Allen plans to contribute its technology and consulting expertise to combat the effects of the virus. We pledge to contribute pro-bono projects, in-kind contributions, and volunteer time to organizations, medical professionals, and communities helping the neediest on the front lines.

The firm will continue hiring to fill client-facing roles across the organization. To learn more about opportunities to join Booz Allen, visit our Careers site.
