He is in the Air Force and he is now a Lieutenant Colonel. He has spent every year since he graduated from high school serving the 6 military. She's a fantastic person, really believes in the mission. Balancing life and work is definitely challenging as a military spouse. A lot of times military spouses are faced with having to move a physical location. The military spouses are really passionate about finding that career and maintaining that career and growing in it. For me, working gives me a sense of self day one. Booz Allen has been incredible. I joined through the Hiring Our Heroes fellowship. Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship
Open to service members, veterans, and military spouses, Hiring Our Heroes is a twelve-week fellowship that eases the transition from military to civilian careers. With professional training opportunities and hands-on experience, our fellows learn how to apply their military expertise to our mission.
Who is eligible to apply?
Service members on active duty or transition leave, current or previous military spouses, and caregivers for wounded, ill, or injured veterans.
How frequent are fellowship cohorts?
We have three cohorts per calendar year in January, May, and September.

We actively hire spouses and caregivers through Hiring Our Heroes Military Fellowship Program and a variety of military spouse-focused hiring events, creating additional pathways to employment.

We were honored to receive the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Award for our commitment to hiring military spouses.
