Nirmal Agarwal is a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) strategy. In his role, he oversees the development of Booz Allen’s strategy for AI and helps clients build the next generation of AI capabilities and solutions to support their mission-critical needs. He specializes in advising the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agencies on achieving operational efficiencies and long-term transformation through the adoption of the latest technologies.
Nirmal is an expert at leading large-scale initiatives that require a breadth of expertise in data management, data analytics, data governance, and data architecture through the cloud and on-premises. Before joining Booz Allen, he worked for General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) building the health analytics practice. Prior to GDIT, Nirmal worked for Deloitte Consulting managing large data analytics and cloud migrations programs for both the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Food and Drug Administration Centers. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the esteemed NIH Director’s Recognition Award, CIT Merit Awards, and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Chief Information Office Merit Awards.
Nirmal holds a B.S. in electronics and communication engineering from Birla Institute of Technology. He also is certified as a project management professional, an Oracle developer and database administrator, and an Informatica developer and administrator.
