Lisa Bishop is a senior leader in Booz Allen’s national security business. She has more than 30 years of military and government consulting experience. She leads our work in the Defense Intelligence Agency as well as providing a portion of our support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
Lisa is an expert in portfolio and program management with functional expertise in imagery and geospatial analysis. She has 23 years of experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and predecessor organizations. Prior to her current role, Lisa was Booz Allen’s program manager providing comprehensive intelligence support to U.S. Commands based in Europe.
In her three decades at the company, Lisa has provided imagery systems expertise in normalizing metadata, identifying cultural features, and building imagery quality scales, among various projects. As a program manager, she has led teams on contracts of varying complexity to satisfy intelligence community mission needs in analysis and intelligence reporting, data transformation, imagery science services, strategy development, and more.
Lisa served in the U.S. Army for four years as an imagery analyst in Germany and at the Joint Imagery Production Center in Saudi Arabia during Operations Desert Shield and Storm.
She previously served as the co-chair of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation Tradecraft and Professional Development Committee. She is active in her community participating in Rebuilding America, Special Olympics, and the 9-11 Day of Service in Washington, DC.
Lisa graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a B.S. in speech communications.
