Don Waymire is a leader in Booz Allen’s health group. Based out of our Charleston, South Carolina, office, he is a recognized leader in health IT, technology strategy, and program management.
Don provides senior leadership and direction to the delivery of technology services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), supporting clients across the VA’s Office of Information and Technology. He has led innovative, mission-critical engagements across the civil, defense, and intelligence realms, including infrastructure operations, systems development, strategic planning, cybersecurity, Section 508, and data analytics projects.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Don was director of smart card financial services at 3-G International. He also served in the U.S. Navy as an aviator for nine years.
Don holds an M.S. in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy.
