Mission Planning Digital Twin

Mission Planning Digital Twin exemplifies Booz Allen’s expertise in modeling and simulation and AI.

With an always-on, two-way conduit between the physical world and its digital replica, organizations can simulate possibilities with unprecedented speed, realism, and cost efficiency. High-fidelity LIDAR data is collected via Reveal Technology drones. Map terrain is then ingested and visualized in our Unity engine. AI enhances simulations on courses of action and unit formation—and it assesses terrain, collateral damage concerns, and beyond using signals intelligence, human intelligence, and operational intelligence data. 

Booz Allen’s MockSat Testbed


To demonstrate our approach in an educational or lab environment, we developed the Mock Satellite (MockSat) testbed. MockSat is a Booz Allen integrated hardware/software cyber-physical testbed based upon the ArduSat 3U cubesat hardware and software.

It represents a simple mock environment consisting of a satellite with flight control software, a communications link, and multiple sensor subsystems, as well as a ground-based control station with command and control capabilities. MockSat supports training, prototype development, and demonstration of cybersecurity methodologies that can be adapted and applied to deployed satellites.
