Brian Zimmermann is a defense leader at Booz Allen, currently heading the firm’s aerospace platforms solutions and Los Angeles business. He applies his expertise in concept development, architectural design, requirements, interface definition, analysis, and integration in support of the Department of Defense, national and civil agencies, and commercial and international clients.
Brian has more than 22 years of systems engineering and business development experiences across the aerospace and defense community. Since joining Booz Allen in 1998, he has led large-scale systems engineering and integration, rapid prototyping, software development, and cyber response engagements, with a focus on complex space systems. Brian helped to expand the firm’s relationships with the innovation ecosystem on the West Coast, developing strategies focused on opportunities with engineering startups, university research centers, and other aerospace companies. He currently plays a key role in defining and driving Booz Allen’s integrated aerospace strategy, helping the firm reshape, reinvigorate, and expand its aerospace business.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Brian worked as a systems engineer for Lockheed Martin.
Bria holds a master’s in systems engineering from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s in ocean engineering from Florida Atlantic University.
