Horacio Rozanski is president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., a leading provider of management and technology consulting and engineering services to Fortune 500 corporations, governments, and not-for-profits across the globe. Horacio became CEO on January 1, 2015 after having served as the firm’s president and chief operating officer. He is involved in all aspects of managing our national and international operations and workforce, leading efforts to set the firm’s business goals and growth strategy, build value for investors, and identify emerging trends that will affect clients.
Horacio has played a central role in major strategic initiatives, including the 2008 separation of Booz Allen’s core government and commercial businesses into two distinct firms, Booz Allen Hamilton’s 2010 initial public offering, and its 2011 expansion into international and commercial markets. Beginning in 2012, he led an initiative called Vision 2020, which set the company’s growth strategy for the future.
Horacio joined Booz Allen in 1992 to focus on marketing and channel strategy across a range of industries. He was elected vice president in 1999, appointed chief personnel officer in 2003, named chief strategy and talent officer in 2010, and chief operating officer in 2011. During Horacio’s time as part of the leadership team, Booz Allen has delivered strong financial results and has garnered worldwide recognition for its expertise in a wide variety of disciplines, including defense and intelligence, cybersecurity, systems development and integration, data analytics, and traditional management consulting.

A respected authority and leader in the consulting industry, Horacio is quoted in major newspapers and business magazines. He speaks at major business conferences on leadership strategy, technology and operations, the future of the consulting industry, and talent and diversity. Hispanic Business Magazine named him to its list of the 2012 Most Influential Leaders in the United States.
Horacio grew up in Argentina and originally came to the United States to attend college. He holds a B.B.A. (summa cum laude) from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and an M.B.A. with high honors from the University of Chicago. He sits on the board of directors for the Center for Talent Innovation and the board of advisors for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
