We partner with industry and other innovators in advanced materials to develop cutting-edge personal protective gear—featuring multispectral signature management, next-gen ballistic protection, and smart textiles.
We also collaborate with partners to develop next-gen footwear and create coatings free of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to enhance survivability for combat. Through these and other projects, we deliver mission-tailored protection, enhancing agility and operational effectiveness in any environment. We also work with domestic partners to strengthen the U.S. industrial base and advance digital toolsets.
