Based in our Washington, DC office, Todd Thompson is a leader in Booz Allen’s health market work. His current focus is on maturing large-scale program operations and capabilities. Todd's clients include the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, encompassing the Electronic Health Record Modernization work and programs at the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Social Security Administration.

Todd has more than 30 years of experience leading large programs and business areas. His professional background is in healthcare, aerospace/defense, intelligence, and commercial, including with companies such as eBay, NASDAQ, and Nike. Todd’s areas of expertise include program operations, business development, strategy, technical and international organizational leadership, and leadership development.

Prior to his work at Booz Allen, Todd focused on management and capture consulting for IBM, MITRE, AT&T, and Lockheed Martin. Prior to that Todd was with Lockheed Martin Corporation (including time at ADP/Skunk Works) for 25 years, leading the startup and operation of three business areas through significant growth, including delivery, business development, contracts, and acquisitions.

Todd attended the University of Wyoming, Montana State, and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.
