Our clients call upon us to work on their hardest problems—delivering effective health care, protecting warfighters and their families, keeping our national infrastructure secure, bringing into focus the traditional boundaries between consumer products and manufacturing as those boundaries blur.
Booz Allen was founded on the notion that we could help companies succeed by bringing them expert, candid advice and an outside perspective on their business. The analysis and perspective generated by that talent can be found in the case studies and thought leadership produced by our people.

We’re not just technologists and strategists at Booz Allen. Our clinicians, scientists, and data analysts support the nation’s public health and medical organizations to transform research into real clinical outcomes. Below, we feature one of our team members, Matt Aldag, who supports clients through our life science services.
Matt Aldag was in search of a profession that would combine his passion for science, writing, and healthcare policy. He found that at Booz Allen, where he partners on government projects at the intersection of policy and communications to resolve crucial healthcare challenges, such as his work supporting the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Pain Management Best Practices Inter-Agency Task Force.
Matt feels like he’s always learning and finding growth opportunities. A few years ago, Matt’s leadership team at Booz Allen helped him make time among his project work for an educational leave as a Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in Washington, D.C. This experience helped Matt learn more about the intersection of policy and healthcare and apply this knowledge to the day-to-day service of our clients. Matt is also proud of the opportunities he has to present Booz Allen’s work to the public. He co-authored journal articles with healthcare clients about brain injury and mobile health technology and led talks at public meetings that review research project findings.
Looking forward, one of Matt’s goals is to learn how the firm can support future government efforts to address an emerging need: improving health care provision for older adults.
Matt earned his Ph.D. at UCLA in neuroscience. He works in the Booz Allen Atlanta, GA office.
“I come to work excited to solve problems that have a real impact on current healthcare challenges.”
