As president of Booz Allen’s civil business, Shannon Fitzgerald leads the integration of force-multiplying AI and advanced technology capabilities to drive efficiencies and enhance the missions of federal civilian departments and agencies.
Shannon has over 25 years of experience in modernizing and transforming organizations. Prior to this role, Shannon served as Booz Allen’s chief strategy officer, leading the company’s growth strategy and initiatives that drive Booz Allen’s long-term success. She previously led Booz Allen’s domestic resilience and citizen services businesses for customers including homeland security, law enforcement, finance, energy, transportation, and health agencies. In this role, she directed some of government’s largest strategic transformation initiatives and commercial technology implementations. She also worked with Booz Allen’s global commercial practice, shaping the future of industry while translating technology into tangible corporate outcomes.
As a recognized expert in transformation and change management, Shannon is an instructor for the Change Management Advanced Practitioner course at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Shannon holds a B.S. in business administration from Towson University.
