Her teams leverage emerging technologies, including cloud and data platforms, to transform legacy systems into the agentic AI-based systems of the future.
Katie began her career as a civilian employee of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), where she contributed to and led major business process and data reengineering initiatives across the agency. She later moved into technology consulting, leading the development and deployment of enterprise-wide federal financial assistance management systems. These systems serve as the backbone of civil agency operations by supporting the distribution of discretionary and non-discretionary grant funding to state, local, tribal, and non-government recipients.
Katie holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Penn State University and an M.S. in systems engineering, with a concentration in artificial intelligence and decision support, from George Mason University.
