NSCAI Report: A Blueprint for AI Leadership

How America can win the 21st-century technology race

Based on 2 years of analysis, the final report of the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI) calls for the nation to take urgent action or risk falling behind in today’s global technology competition. As adversaries gain ground, a successful U.S. effort will require new ideas and capabilities from many sources, public and private, to generate the innovation America needs to responsibly develop and deploy artificial intelligence (AI) at scale.

With this collaborative approach in mind, Graham Gilmer, a vice president in Booz Allen’s Analytics organization, shares five keys for the AI blueprint America needs to outpace other nations and win the 21st-century technology race. This presentation was given at the National Defense Industry Association (NDIA) National Security AI Conference and Exhibition (NSAICE) on March 23, 2021.
