Booz Allen’s cyber incident response services help organizations in government and private enterprise respond effectively to the world’s most complex and significant breaches. Our deep bench of cyber talent allows us to respond instantly to incidents around the globe.
But beyond responding, we work with clients before they experience an event to make sure they’re ready to act decisively and maintain resilience if an attack occurs. And after an incident, we help speed clients’ recovery and apply lessons learned toward preventing future attacks.
International Data Corporation (IDC) considered such qualifications when it recently named Booz Allen as a recognized Leader in U.S. cybersecurity incident response.
As one of the world’s most influential tech analyst firms, IDC sets a high bar for incident response vendors. The organization only named a handful of companies in the Leaders Category, based on its rigorous vendor assessment methodology. We could not be prouder to be among them.
IDC announced the distinction in its recently published report, IDC MarketScape: U.S. Incident Readiness, Response, and Resiliency Services 2018 Vendor Assessment—Beyond the Big 5 Consultancies (doc # US44257117, September 2018).
The ability to innovate is one reason IDC named Booz Allen a Leader. In an industry known to face a serious shortage of qualified talent, Booz Allen was also recognized for a hiring methodology that is singular among its peers.
According to the IDC MarketScape report, “Customers rated BAH highly for its planned research and development initiatives in the incident response market as well as for its unique hiring methodology, which is critical in an industry with the skill shortage that security encounters.”
The IDC MarketScape recommends that “Large enterprises that want a large team of security service talent on the bench as well as strong government-grade capabilities should consider Booz Allen Hamilton.” Booz Allen is the only company in the world to hold all three of the U.S. Government’s elite cyber accreditations: the National Security Agency’s Cyber Incident Response Assistance (CIRA) and Vulnerability Assessment Service accreditations and the General Services Administration’s Highly Adaptive Cybersecurity Services accreditation.
Market research and strategy firm Frost & Sullivan also named Booz Allen as the leading provider of professional security services and a top total provider of managed and professional security services (2018).
