Marek Cyran is an experienced data scientist and software architect who leads the technical implementation of blockchain and analytics projects for Booz Allen’s federal and commercial clients. Marek and his team design robust, customized solutions using modern software development and architecture principles.
Marek provides expertise in blockchain technology, data science, computational modeling, visualization, and software development and architecture to various government clients including at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). There he helped the agency develop and implement its first blockchain-based healthcare data sharing solution which facilitates the exchange of encrypted, permissioned, health data. He’s currently developing extensible blockchain solution architectures that can be applied to a wide variety of use cases and domains.
Prior to his work with the FDA, Marek led the technical implementation of clinical point-of-care applications to help physicians make more informed decisions by leveraging natural language processing approaches to provide insight into unstructured patient data.
He has a B.S. in applied mathematics and an M.S. in applied and computational mathematics, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
