John Pisano is a technology leader managing IT infrastructure engineering and operations across Booz Allen’s global 24/7 enterprise. He and his team of over 180 engineers deliver vital support and management to more than 30,000 users across 400 applications. His team provides critical network, hosting, identity and access management, and endpoint capabilities, ensuring optimal performance of a comprehensive set of IT products and services.
Earlier at Booz Allen, John led our digital cloud solutions capability, delivering infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), container as a service (CaaS), hybrid/multicloud, and cloud migration offerings. As one of our cloud technology experts, John led complex cloud modernization efforts across defense, civil, and commercial organizations—including developing application migration and plans, cloud architecture and design, security engineering, and cloud administration practices.
John has 28 years of military service and is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. He is currently the Brigade Command Sergeant Major of the Innovation Support Group, 75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command, headquartered in Aberdeen, Maryland. He is the principal advisor to the commander and members of the staff on all soldier issues, including personnel, training, and readiness posture. John serves his community as a member of The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
John holds a B.S. in IT/information security specialization from Capella University, along with certifications from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), EC-Council, and the International Consortium for Agile.
