Aaron Burciaga is data scientist and artificial intelligence leader, driving the development and governance of emerging concepts and innovative technologies. He’s an expert in the application of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive forms of analysis to drive strategic decision making for his clients.
With more than 15 years of experience, Aaron’s technical interests and expertise are at the crossroads of advanced analytics, global logistics, and data strategy. His career experiences range from the optimization of transportation, fulfillment operations, and services to developing and leading C-level analytics programs for federal, Department of Defense, and commercial clients.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Aaron worked as an analytics executive at Accenture LLP, focused on the commercial sector where he developed the advanced analytics platform and business for how Accenture delivered infrastructure, solutions, and managed services to clients. This business grew to $400 million in North America and more than $1.2 billion globally in 2017. Prior to leading the analytics platform, Aaron ran the Supply Chain Analytics practice in North America, launching new analytics centers of excellence and projects for clients like Nike, P&G, Loblaw, Pfizer, and others.
Aaron was a Marine Corps officer and Iraq war veteran, and was the head operations research analyst and director of an operations analysis activity at the Pentagon, supporting the Marine Corps Headquarters. He is currently a Marine reservist, supporting the chief information officer at Headquarters Marine Corps-Pentagon as the big data analytics architect.

Aaron graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2003 and earned his M.S. in operations research from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2010. He is also a certified analytics professional.
