Paul Sussman is a leader in Booz Allen’s commercial business where he helps clients compete in the rapidly evolving digital economy by integrating solutions that enable strategic business outcomes and trusted commerce. He advises boards and other non-technical leaders as well as aiding companies to transform their cybersecurity practices from a cost of doing business to an enabler of competitiveness.
Paul has more than 25 years of experience in risk management, cybersecurity, and IT strategy development in the global financial services and high-tech sectors. He has held leadership positions at companies including Gartner, First Manhattan Consulting Group, and AlixPartners. He has developed products for pioneering cloud infrastructure providers, built digital business channels for fintech firms, and developed cybersecurity strategies for banks and software companies. He has spoken at industry conferences and published dozens of articles and white papers on digital business transformation.
Prior to his consulting career, Paul worked in nonprofit management for the National Audubon Society and developed grants for research on subjects such as alternative vehicle fuels, chemical waste recycling, high-efficiency office buildings, and other green technologies.
Paul holds a B.A. in English from Penn State University and an M.B.A. in finance and IT from New York University.
