Mariel Cooley is a leader in Booz Allen’s mission partner environment programs, based in our Bethesda, Maryland, office. She and her team are developing the strategy, technical solutions, and customer engagement plans for command and control (C2) software and systems. Her areas of expertise include C2 infrastructure based on emerging technologies and methodologies relating to coalition and mission partner (MP) information sharing and the protection of information at various classification levels. She is passionate about advancing information sharing and collaboration between the Department of Defense and all of the MPs.
With more than 25 years of experience in strategy and information technology consulting, she specializes in delivering capabilities that meet clients’ mission needs and requirements. Her areas of expertise include systems engineering, knowledge management, Agile methodologies, and business process reengineering.
Before joining Booz Allen, Mariel held a variety of senior positions supporting federal government clients primarily in the defense and intelligence communities. Most recently she was director of operations for an offensive cyber operations program, responsible for managing the program’s entire lifecycle.
Mariel earned an M.S. in international telecommunications from George Mason University and a B.E. in systems engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. She also holds a graduate certificate of architecture and systems engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
