Kate Mercer leads the digital functional capability within Booz Allen’s aerospace account. She has more than 24 years of experience in program management, software application implementation, business process reengineering, and strategic planning. Her multidisciplinary team delivers modern software development, solutions delivery platform (DevSecOps), infrastructure, cyber, enterprise data management, data platforms, IT systems modernization, cloud solutions, digital transformation, low code/no code solutions, business process management solutions, and Agile coaching.
In March 2019, Kate orchestrated an agreement with the State of Ohio through the JobsOhio program for Booz Allen in selecting Dayton as our next site for a digital hub. This initiative brings together the firm’s DevSecOps capabilities, modern software development practices, and data management expertise to support Air Force objectives at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and beyond.
Kate was a founding board member for the Greater Ohio Valley Women in Defense Chapter, newly formed in 2013 with more than 250 members. She currently serves the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association Wright Chapter Board.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Kate provided financial system analytics and working capital fund rate build consulting services for KPMG’s Air Force clients. She holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and English from Denison University and is a certified project management professional.
