Joe Mazloum is a leader in Booz Allen’s investments, real estate, and finance business. Based out of our office in Beirut, Lebanon, he serves a range of clients that include sovereign wealth funds, public and private financial institutions, and financial centers across the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
Joe’s recent work has focused on designing strategies for large-scale developments and financial centers to enhance populations’ socio-economic conditions and promote economic growth and diversification. Joe also has extensive experience helping financial institutions with revenue enhancement and cost optimization programs.
Prior to re-joining Booz Allen in 2015, Joe was director of strategy and organization for CMA CGM, one of the world’s largest shipping and logistics firms. Based in France, he oversaw the transformation of the operating model of a 20,000-employee company and contributed to the firm’s diversification strategy. He also worked as a financial analyst for a leading financial software company in New York.
Joe holds an M.B.A. in finance from INSEAD, an M.A. in economics from McGill University, and a B.A. in economics from the American University of Beirut.
