COVID-19: Our Response to the Pandemic

Philanthropic Initiatives: Building Community through Generosity

Our firm and the independent Booz Allen Foundation have launched coordinated philanthropic initiatives to help solve pandemic-related problems and to support military and veteran communities and frontline workers.

Funding innovative solutions

The Booz Allen Foundation established a $1 million Innovation Fund to help nonprofits, entrepreneurs, academic researchers, and small businesses use technology to solve urgent problems created by the pandemic.

Combating hunger

Booz Allen and the Booz Allen Foundation each donated $1 million to help local Feeding America member food banks deploy mobile food pantries and provide food to school-aged children outside of regular school settings.

Partnering for impact

We partnered with the CDC Foundation to provide assistance to frontline healthcare workers and with the COVID-19 Military Support Initiative to support veterans and military families.

Our Employee Support Programs

Our people are our greatest asset. Throughout the pandemic, we've invested in programs to support their health and financial security.

  • We made a $5 million contribution to our employee resilience program to support employee hardships.
  • We increased contributions to Flexible Spending Accounts and the amount of emergency PTO.
  • We added new emotional well-being programs to our Employee Assistance Program and expanded telehealth services coverage.

The Future of Work is 3D: Distributed, Digital, Diverse

At the start of the pandemic, we pivoted to a telework-first posture to protect the health of our employees. Though often physically distant, we’ve continued to serve our clients and grow our business.

Now, we’re using what we’ve learned to reimagine the workforce of the 21st century. By harnessing advances in digital technologies and the rich perspectives offered by distributed and diverse networks, we can energize connections and achieve new levels of speed and agility.
