McLean, Va – Booz Allen Hamilton announced today that Frank DiGiammarino, a recognized expert, author, and thought leader on digital transformation, joined Booz Allen as an executive vice president to lead innovation strategy for the firm. As a seasoned technology leader, Frank has a proven track record of enabling change in the digital era across public, private, and academic sectors. Through positions held at the White House, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Georgetown’s Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation, Frank’s career is defined by a desire to change the government’s ability to drive a positive impact.
In his new role, Frank brings connectivity and integration to Booz Allen’s innovation ecosystem to digitally transform the way federal agencies deliver outcome-driven and people-centric services. Frank joins as Booz Allen continues to advance its commitment to bringing bold thinking, game-changing technology solutions, and new business models to the government. His efforts will further support a full spectrum of clients from Recreation.gov, as it adapts to consumers’ mobile and dynamic lifestyle by delivering a modern, mobile-friendly way to reserve campsites at America’s national parks, and to Dell, as it develops breakthrough solutions like District Defend, a location-aware secure mobility solution that uses patented security protocols to make the management of mobile devices in highly sensitive and classified environments easier and less complicated.

Before joining the firm, Frank was a senior fellow at the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation at Georgetown University, and a co-founder and adviser to Accelerated Digital Ventures, a sustainable investment engine. He also served as the director of U.S. state and local government for the World Wide Public Sector division as well as the head of global expansion at AWS. As an advisor to former Vice President Joe Biden on the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act under the Obama Administration, Frank coordinated the disbursement of $787 billion to speed economic recovery after the Great Recession. Frank earned a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, as well as a master of public administration in science and technology policy from George Washington University.
