McLean, VA — Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH) has been awarded a $159M task order on the General Services Administration (GSA) Alliant contract to provide U.S. Army - Project Director, Network Enablers (PD Net E) systems engineering services to streamline the Army’s tactical and data network capabilities. Booz Allen will assist with standardizing processes, reducing overhead, improving security, and increasing efficiency for PD Net E as well as the firm’s other Army C4ISR clients – ultimately helping to strengthen the reliability of the networks on which deployed soldiers depend. The five-year task order, executed by GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), is designed to help PD NET E leadership integrate various networking products and capabilities – including hardware, software, security, and tactical network initialization solutions.
Booz Allen brings standardized methodologies, tools, and support to other Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) clients including Program Manager, Tactical Radios, and Program Manager, Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (PM WIN-T) and provides PD Net E with a comprehensive engineering solution.
“Booz Allen is honored to draw from our expertise and partnerships in the defense space to deliver a comprehensive and progressive series of engineering solutions that support PD Net E and the tactical network,” said Bill Schuler, Senior Vice President leading the Army C4ISR business at Booz Allen. “This is another key win in our portfolio supporting one of the Army’s highest priorities: developing and fielding highly reliable networks for our soldiers.”
Brian McKeon, Executive Vice President and leader of the firm’s Army business, added, “This win demonstrates Booz Allen’s ability to win and compete in highly technical domains. Further, the network’s mission criticality demonstrates our position as an essential partner to the Army. We used internally-focused investments in engineering and cyber capabilities to secure this work, and we will now partner with PD Net E to deliver the tools and talent needed to support the tactical network.”
