Article focuses on actionable insights to drive business and policy benefits for the health industry
Booz Allen principal Joachim Roski and vice president Tim Andrews have co-authored “Creating Value In Health Care Through Big Data: Opportunities And Policy Implications,” an article that appears in the July issue of Health Affairs, the leading peer-reviewed journal of health policy thought and research. George W. Bo-Linn, a senior advisor at Alvarez & Marsal's Improvement Division also contributed to the piece.
Booz Allen’s collective expertise and experience leveraging big data and advanced analytics to support public and private sector clients serves as a strong foundation for theHealth Affairs piece. The article defines big data and its industry impact, lays out critical opportunities and challenges, and outlines policy changes that would allow organizations to harvest the full value of big data for health care.
