How is your work pushing boundaries?
I work to support suicide prevention initiatives that help bring down the suicide rate among our military service members and their families. As a military spouse, this work is particularly important as it affects my community.
How do you feel personally connected to this work?
I personally experienced the loss of close friends to suicide—service members, veterans, spouses, military kids. All these losses strengthen my resolve to continue to fight for answers and assist in implementing initiatives that save lives.
For whom are you building the future?
My military community. The goal is zero suicides and I believe we can get there.
I’m changing the world by…
Using my knowledge and expertise to prevent suicide in the military. Booz Allen has given me the opportunity to work within my passion—and that’s priceless.
