Misty Holbert manages Booz Allen’s media efforts for Digital Solutions, Engineering and Directed Energy in addition to elevating the presence of the firm’s international work and social impact program.
As a communications strategist, Misty brings an omnichannel approach to business strategy and media campaigns. Over the past decade, she has developed and implemented media and stakeholder relations programs that have garnered significant media attention and built brand loyalty for a variety of clients.
Prior to Booz Allen, Misty held multiple roles across industries to elevate brand awareness and advance corporative narratives through dynamic storytelling. As a public relations manager at BrandLinkDC, she managed several clients in the hospitality and lifestyle space, all wanting to attract and retain brand loyalty from millennials.
Prior to BrandLinkDC, she developed and implemented the communications and public relations program for the architecture and design firm RTKL. In this role, she led initiatives to promote the firm’s senior executives as industry thought leaders, implemented large-scale communications campaigns and external events and increased annual media coverage by 40 percent through media placements in local, national and international publications.
As a senior associate at global public affairs firm Burson-Marsteller, Misty developed and executed public affairs, crisis, and stakeholder education programs for commercial and federal government clients.
Misty has a B.A. in commerce and marketing from the University of Virginia.
