Our strategy and technology consultants have empowered our international clients with the knowledge and experience they need to build their own local resources and capabilities.
In facing challenges of modernization, our Middle East and North Africa clients have complex requirements that benefit from our proven experience in guiding major programs and projects for governments and private-sector organizations. The services we offer in UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Kuwait, Morocco, Jordan, and other regional countries build on our consulting legacy.
Our clients call upon us to work on their hardest problems—delivering effective health care, protecting warfighters and their families, keeping our national infrastructure secure, bringing into focus the traditional boundaries between consumer products and manufacturing as those boundaries blur.
Booz Allen was founded on the notion that we could help companies succeed by bringing them expert, candid advice and an outside perspective on their business. The analysis and perspective generated by that talent can be found in the case studies and thought leadership produced by our people.

Robert Gysi is an electrical engineer by education but relies on a multidisciplinary skillset to form the concepts that lead to completed solutions for his clients. “This means not only relying on my own experiences in these related disciplines,” says Robert, “but knowing when to reach out to others with expertise exclusive to a single field.” He has motto of sorts: Knowing when to reach out for assistance is as important as knowing the answers.
Like many engineers, Robert got into engineering because he loves being challenged and enjoys the hunt for a solution. “I spend a lot of time in the field, and I’m not only solving the issues on paper to design a system, but often the unintended interactions or issues that arise once integrated into the larger system. I never know what’s going to pop up and that not only keeps me on my toes, but keeps me looking forward to coming into work."
“I never know what's going to pop up—and that keeps me on my toes.”
Robert currently supports the design, integration, and installation of communications and network equipment onboard Navy ships. One of his proudest achievements is having served as the engineering lead for a communications suite that has now been implemented on four U.S. Navy ships.
Robert is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and has been at Booz Allen for 10 years (coming over as part of its acquisition of ARINC.) He’s an avid traveler and enjoys volunteering for numerous Booz Allen-sponsored events such as leading educational demonstrations for kids at the Science and Discovery Center of Northwest Florida. He currently works at the Panama City office in Florida.
