Originally hired by Booz Allen as a robotics engineer, this Cornell-educated expert developed software and control theory for small robots and CubeSats (i.e., small satellites), and advised government clients on how to best strategize future research in these fields. He now works as a space systems engineer, with an emphasis on satellites.
Eric’s main focus is supporting a defense client in building out spacecraft programs across the entire program lifecycle. Leveraging rapidly developing technologies, he explores innovative ways to fulfill mission needs through novel applications of CubeSats and other small satellites.
Eric’s support begins in the mission planning phase, where he surveys technologies, provides strategy guidance, and simulates the operation of potential satellite constellations. Over the course of these projects, he helps the client manage the engineering development and integration, resulting in on-orbit demonstrations. In addition, Eric is the technical contact for novel research and development of several critical spacecraft payloads.
