Ziad N. Moukarzel is a leader in Booz Allen’s environmental practice. Based out of the firm’s Beirut, Lebanon, office, he applies expertise in program management, strategy development, institution setting design, regulatory framework design, and operating model design to the environment, utilities, and oil and gas sectors.
Ziad has worked for Booz Allen for since 2015. During that time, he has led the evolution and implementation of a national environmental strategy and a number of sector strategies; the design of institutional frameworks, fees, and tariffs; and the development of environmental laws and regulations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ziad worked as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and as an associate for Booz and Company, delivering strategy projects for utilities, oil and gas, construction, and media sectors. That work followed 10 years at General Electric, where he was a project engineer, presales engineer, and project director focused on top-tier utility companies.
Ziad earned a bachelor’s degree in computer and communications engineering from the American University of Beirut.
