Maya Melhem is the Digital Solutions lead for our Air Force business, focusing on large IT systems modernization across business and mission systems. Maya leads diverse teams and capabilities across multiple geographies, delivering technology solutions to varied clients and missions. Throughout her career at Booz Allen, she’s supported clients in both civil and defense sectors, helping them transform their processes and technology advancements more effectively and efficiently.
Maya has more than 27 years of experience in systems development, program management, data management, IT strategy and planning, full lifecycle system development and modernization following Capability Maturity Model Integration practices, software quality assurance, risk management, and technology consulting in the government and commercial sectors.
Maya is a comeback kid, however prior to re-joining Booz Allen, she worked for Freddie Mac and Nextel Communications. She also currently serves on the Board of Visitors for Children’s National, one of our nation’s premier children’s hospitals, each year serving more than 230,000 kids from Washington, Maryland, and Virginia.
Maya holds a B.S. in business administration, decision sciences from George Mason University, an M.S. in management of information technology from the University of Virginia, and a project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
