Hamid Tamimi oversees our digital government transformation platform in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He is also a part of the leadership team who works on expanding our public security and safety practice in the region.
Hamid has more than two decades of business and consulting experience in the MENA region, bringing extensive strategy and large-scale transformation planning and implementation expertise, with a focus on government, public safety, and security organizations. He is also a recognized leader in digital strategy, service modernization, business process reengineering, and enterprise architecture design.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Hamid was a senior director working for a large system integrator and technology provider, with an operation extending across the MENA region. In this role he interacted and collaborated with clients in various markets on exciting and impactful projects. These projects included developing and implementing the first unified immigration and criminal investigation platform for a leading Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) country, and the build and launch of one of the region’s largest airport terminals.
Hamid has a bachelor’s degree in computer science, with recognition, from the Applied Science University in Jordan. He also is certified as a project management professional and governance IT professional.
