Craig Starnes is a vice president based at the firm’s O’Fallon office in the St. Louis metropolitan market. Craig has been with our firm for more than 25 years, primarily focusing on defense-based clients. He leads an integrated management team consisting of more than 200 professionals focused on delivering a comprehensive set of services and capabilities across the Air Force headquarters and operations market.
Craig is currently the location general manager and Air Force mobility market lead. Current clients include the Air Mobility Command, Air Force Space Command, Air Force Network Integration Center, Cyber Support Squadron, and the United States Transportation Command. Craig is recognized for his expertise in cost analysis and economic modeling, resource/financial management, decision analytics, cost restructuring, and portfolio decision analytics.
Prior to his current position, Craig led the Air Force Logistics Centers and Nuclear Weapons Center work across the firm in the acquisition and logistics market. In this role, he worked on systems engineering, acquisition management, cost estimating, cost analysis, and information and mission assurance assignments for weapons system and automated information systems. Craig provided leadership on key engagements with clients, including the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Air Force Air Logistics Complexes, Air Force Research Lab, and National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Other clients included the U.S. Army Program Analysis Integration Office, Army Program Executive Officer, Enterprise Information Systems, the Missile Defense Agency, Space and Missile Development Command, and the Information Technology Agency.
Craig holds a B.S. in statistics and an M.S. in mathematics, both from Virginia Tech.
