Vice President Charles Habak leads the firm’s Banking and Fintech business in the Middle East and North Africa. As a core member of the Financial Services practice, he has longstanding experience working with central banks, commercial banks, Fintech companies, investment companies and other financial institutions.
His key areas of expertise center on strategy, design, transformation and policy setting in banking, digital banking, financial market infrastructures, and Fintech. He has worked in MENA since 2008, and has been at the forefront of several highly successful endeavors in payments, modern financial market infrastructures, market-moving regulations, and digital banking transformations over this period.
Prior to joining the firm, Charles worked as a functional consultant at SAP Americas, and as an application engineer at Oracle Corporation.
Charles holds an M.B.A. in Finance & Entrepreneurship with Honors from HEC Montreal, and a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering with distinction from McGill University.
