Marge Spanninger is a leader in human capital and learning for workforce development at Booz Allen. She works primarily in the health market and supports functional communities for human capital and learning, general management consulting, health, and Section 508 compliance.
Marge has more than 30 years of experience in technical and security training design, development, and delivery. She provides cross-market support for agency-centric and cyber training, IT workforce development programs, as well as program and risk management support to a portfolio of contracts for the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, Transportation, Homeland Security, and Defense.
Prior to joining Booz Allen in 1994, Marge held several positions within education services at Honeywell Federal Systems. She authored a modular curriculum design methodology and module tracking system that Honeywell Information Systems adopted internationally.
Marge received the 2009 Government Information Security Leadership Award for Contractors from the International Information System Security Certification Consortium. She also was featured in the December 2009 issue of Security Magazine as one of the 25 most influential executives.
She earned an M.B.A. in information systems technology from The George Washington University and a B.S. in accounting from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
