Booz Allen's Mark Gerencser is the author of an article on cyber security, which appeared in the April 17, 2009, edition of the San Diego Daily Transcript.

"Real protection requires 'cyber resilience' – an ability to keep functioning in the face of a devastating attack. This ability requires collective action and cooperation on a scale that has rarely been witnessed before. A national response is necessary that involves multiple stakeholders from business, government and society," according to Gerencser.
