"Vendors See Increased Demand For IT Systems, Support"

The April 7, 2009, issue of the Federal Times cited Booz Allen's Tom Greenspon in an article about the demand for information technology systems and support to help agencies with a range of challenges.

“Up until 2008, there was a lot of demand for staff augmentation and the outsourcing of systems development and systems integration,” said Greenspon. “But now there is a shift in that. The trend is to service-oriented architecture, and that means that instead of shutting down all legacy systems, leave some in place and don’t attempt to reconfigure all the processes.”
