McLean, VA, April 30, 2009 — Booz Allen Hamilton Information Technology team's systems development organization is continuing to enhance its enterprise-wide foundation in quality by proactively investing in a robust process improvement program and regularly refreshing our Maturity Level 3 rating against the Capability Maturity Model Integration® for Development (CMMI®-DEV+IPPD) v1.2.

For more than 10 years, Booz Allen has demonstrated a deep commitment to delivering quality and value on our systems engagements, which is reflected in our repeated successful appraisals.  We will continue to strengthen our systems and software capability through process improvement, expanding our role as a leader in the market.

The Software Engineering Institute (SEISM), based at Carnegie Mellon University, developed CMMI® to enable the U.S. Department of Defense to more readily and objectively assess the full range of capabilities of their industry partners. The CMMI® credential demonstrates that Booz Allen has standardized how it performs its systems and software engineering work and drives quality processes throughout the organization.
