Booz Allen Leaders Again Participate in Prestigious Aspen Ideas Festival
The firm is co-sponsoring the annual event, bringing together distinguished experts in science, academia, politics, business, and culture.
For the third consecutive year, Booz Allen Hamilton is co-sponsoring the Aspen Ideas Festival—an annual forum hosting an eminent assembly of world-renowned scientists, artists, politicians, historians, educators, and other influential activists and thinkers.
From July 2-8, 2007, the group will come together to participate in a “summer university of the mind” comprised of programs, tutorials, and seminars to stimulate intellectual exchange. Participants will engage in dialogue to address some the most provocative ideas of our time with a sophisticated, highly motivated audience.
Speakers, moderators, and presenters were selected from a diverse mix of interests. Attendees from Booz Allen include:
-
Gary Ahlquist, Senior Vice President, participating in a panel discussion on “The New Consumerism: Shifting from a Wholesale to a Retail Approach in Healthcare”
-

Booz Allen is again sponsoring two of the Festival’s major tracks: Global Dynamics and Health. The Global Dynamics track will address the challenges and opportunities in an increasingly interconnected world, including nuclear proliferation, terrorism, and changing demographics, among many other topics. The Health track focuses on soaring healthcare costs, a growing population of the aging and uninsured, patient safety, and promising but expensive medical advances, which are creating a “perfect storm” of healthcare issues.
