Charles F. Koontz

Charles Koontz, a Senior Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, has 25 years of experience developing visionary solutions to complex business problems.

He has an extensive background in global business processes, including strategy, business development, account management, solutions development, and operations management.

Mr. Koontz’s key skills include developing and implementing information systems, directing back-office process improvements, and managing large profit and losses (P&Ls) in a publically traded environment.

Before joining Booz Allen in 2011, he served as group president of information technology and network solutions at SAIC, where he managed all aspects of its global engineering and IT services business involving a staff of 9,000 and focusing on the federal civilian, energy, and health markets.

He also led the telecommunications, media, and networks business for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.

Mr. Koontz is a graduate of Ohio State University with a B.S. degree in industrial and systems engineering, and he completed work towards an MBA at the University of Cincinnati.
