McLean, VA — As part of a three-year strategy, Booz Allen Hamilton will expand its office space in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, and evolve toward a network of offices and innovative “Way We Work” approach to give employees the flexibility to work closer to clients and closer to their homes. We estimate that this strategy will result in employees’ average commute time dropping by 20 minutes one-way when implemented.
The new facilities and Way We Work strategy recognizes the need to serve clients across the region and respond to changes resulting from the Base Realignment and Closure Act (BRAC). It also reflects Booz Allen’s commitment to sustainability and quality of life by basing employees closer to their homes and reducing commute times and carbon footprint.
Booz Allen Hamilton currently has more than half of its 23,000 employees in Maryland, Virginia, and DC. The firm has enjoyed double-digit growth for over a decade.
