Booz Allen and the Discovery Channel’s documentary, “HEALTH I.T.: Advancing Care, Empowering Patients” will debut at 8:00 am ET this Saturday, November 19, on the Discovery Channel. The hour-long documentary explores ways in which health information technology is catalyzing positive change in our healthcare system. It also takes the Booz Allen brand and positioning as an expert in health IT to a whole new level—into 101 million households, to be exact.
The documentary features five case studies and expert commentary from Senior Vice President Kristine Martin Anderson along with Dr. David Blumenthal, former National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at the US Department of Health and Human Services, and Aneesh Chopra, the Chief Technology Officer for the US Government. It will also rerun on November 26 and December 3 at 8:00 am ET. Following its initial airing, the program will be available for streaming at the Discovery Channel Website or for download at iTunes.
