Executive Vice President, Mike McConnell, participated in the panel discussion “Cyberwar, Cybersecurity, and the Challenges Ahead” at the RSA Conference 2011. The panel explored the complex and evolving issues tied to cybersecurity and conflict in cyberspace in the 21st Century. Moderated by Dr. James Lewis of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the panel discussed the thresholds for cyber war, the terminology used for various types of cyber conflict, and what needs to be done in the international context to secure cyberspace while also deterring the possible escalation of various kinds of cyber attacks and conflict.
