Booz Allen Experts To Discuss Space Issues

This year’s forums, panels, presentations, speeches, and special events will feature the space community's most influential leaders. As part of that discussion, several Booz Allen experts will speak throughout the four-day conference.

At the 27th National Space Symposium, Senior Vice President Roger Cressey gave a presentation titled,"Cyberspace: What's the Interagency Doing?"

Principal Christine Harada will be the master moderator for  Cyber 1.1. Her expertise is in strategy development and organization strategy supporting the cyber mission.

Senior Vice President Carol Staubach will serve as a panelist on “Education and the Bottom Line – The Corporate Role” on Wednesday, April 13 where she will talk about the importance of science, technology, and engineering, and math (STEM) education.

Principal David Crandall recently authored an article in the April 2011 issue of Geospatial Intelligence Forum which will be distributed at the symposium. The article focuses on how the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) can achieve its goals to enhance the user experience by adopting a so-called “Big Data” approach. He points to the benefits of “Big Data” – flexibility, scalability and ability to handle massive amounts of data – and touches on how today’s most successful companies prospered using the model. Crandall urges NGA and the Intelligence Community to address non-technology barriers to the adoption of “Big Data” – security, budget and organizational change. He points to success had in the IC and in pockets of the NGA. David specializes in system development, technology insertion and systems engineering for geospatial intelligence clients.

Over 40 Booz Allen personnel are expected to  attend the Symposium including Senior Vice Presidents Bill Bastedo, John Lueders, Henry “Trey” Obering, and Kurt Stevens; Vice President Steven DelBusso; and Executive Advisors Keith Hall and Don Cazel.
