  • The Federal News Radio Expert Voices panel focuses on global illicit supply chains. In your opinion, why is this topic so relevant as we look toward the future?
  • In response to decades of law enforcement pressure, transnational criminal enterprises (CE) have become increasingly sophisticated in both the tools and methodologies they employ to move illicit products.  The illicit supply chain infrastructure they have developed is highly resilient to disruption and capable of sustaining multiple point failures without significantly impacting the overall flow of goods. These weapons, narcotics and other goods smuggled across the border pose a significant threat to the public’s health and safety.
